Terms of sale

The terms for buying and using our digital games. Version 2026-10-05.1.

1. Digital games to play at home

Studio Cachette offers original games to download as PDF files and print yourself. The purchaser must be an adult. Each product page states the files, languages, materials and adult guidance included. The games are intended for families, with an adult preparing and supervising the activity.

Choose from the games marked as available. Your selection, included files and total euro amount are shown before you confirm payment.

Only games marked as available can be purchased. An unavailable product cannot be paid for. This offer includes no postal delivery, subscription or creation from a child’s photo or voice.

A personalised story marked as available is an illustrated PDF book in an original world, for children aged 6–8 to read with an adult. The first name or nickname is added at download after payment. The characters are fictional: no child portrait, franchise character, audio or video file is supplied. A world offering only a preview is not sold as a complete book.

2. Prices and your selection

For printable adventure games, reference prices are €12 for one adventure and €18 for two different adventures. The certificate option for 2 to 8 children adds €2 to the whole selection, making a total of €14 or €20. One named certificate is included; the included blank certificate can be printed for your party. Previews can be viewed on screen before buying. Printable files and certificates are reserved for orders with confirmed payment.

For these adventure games, the total payable is €12, €14, €18 or €20 according to your selection and certificates. It is shown before payment, with no extra charge added after confirmation and no physical delivery fees. Contact us with any question about your order.

Personalised stories have two separate offers: Book at €14.90 for a 16-page illustrated book, without missions or a certificate; Play Pack at €19.90 for the same book, three printable mission pages, one solution page and a named certificate, totalling 21 pages. Each purchase includes French and English versions of the selected story. This is a one-time purchase of a personalised book, with no subscription or additional charge after confirmation. Only an offer marked as available can be ordered.

3. Ordering and payment

Check your selection, language, options and price before confirming an order with an obligation to pay. Provide an adult’s email for order support. Accepting these terms is separate from requesting immediate access to the files.

When payment is available, it is processed directly by PayPal using the methods it offers. Studio Cachette does not receive your card number. A return from PayPal, an authorisation or a pending payment does not unlock a download: the payment provider must confirm that payment is complete.

4. File access and order confirmation

Once completed payment is confirmed, the available files can be accessed from the secure order page. Save the downloadable receipt, the copy of the accepted terms and the recovery details provided there. The receipt records the selection, amount and your immediate-access choices. An automatic email is not required for delivery and is not guaranteed by these terms.

The intended use requires a recent browser, a PDF reader and an A4 printer. You provide paper, ink and ordinary materials. Downloaded files can be saved on your device. Secure access is not a promise of lifetime hosting; if you have difficulty, use order support or the contact details below.

5. Certificates and use of the files

A first name or nickname is enough for a certificate, and leaving it blank is also possible. The before-purchase preview keeps names in page memory. Just before leaving for PayPal, a copy linked to your order is placed in this tab’s session storage to restore your choices on return, including after cancelling and resuming payment. It can be reused for 3 hours, then is removed the next time that order is accessed. In another tab or on another device, or if this storage is blocked, enter the names again after payment. This copy is not sent to PayPal or our server. Clear the names removes it; correcting a name after payment also removes the old copy. When you download, names are sent temporarily to our server to create the PDF, without being retained in the order or sent to PayPal. Check spelling before downloading; you can correct names during your session. Keep your PDFs on your device.

A purchase permits personal and family use, including printing for guests at your private party. Copyright is not transferred. Reselling files, posting them online, public sharing and commercial use are not included. Rights granted to you by law remain unaffected.

For a personalised book, the selected fictional character, power and quality are recorded in the purchase. The first name or nickname is not stored in the order, sent to PayPal or included in emails. A temporary copy in your tab’s session storage restores it on return from payment for 3 hours; enter it again on another device. At download after confirmed payment, the name is sent temporarily to our server to create the PDF, without being retained there. The name appears in the PDF you keep. Application logs and the order database do not retain it. You can correct spelling and download again during the order’s access period. The Book alone includes no certificate; the Play Pack’s certificate is part of its PDF.

6. Withdrawal and immediate access

A consumer normally has 14 days from the contract date to withdraw without giving a reason. For paid digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right is lost when supply starts only if you expressly requested supply before the period ends, acknowledged that you would lose this right and received confirmation of this agreement on a durable medium.

The immediate-access checkbox is not preselected. Its wording is: I request immediate access to the digital content before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal when its supply begins.

A digital file or a name on a certificate does not by itself remove your rights. If the conditions for losing the right are not met, you can request withdrawal through secure order support or contact the seller with a clear statement. A model is provided on the Delivery and refunds page. No reason is required to exercise an applicable withdrawal right.

7. Problems, statutory rights and refunds

If a file is missing, cannot be opened or differs from its description, provide the order reference and describe the issue through order support or the contact below. Depending on the issue and your rights, the response may be renewed access, a correction, a conformity remedy or a refund. Recording a request does not mean a refund has already been approved or processed.

Losing the right of withdrawal does not remove statutory rights for digital content. These terms do not restrict your rights if content is not supplied or does not conform. A refund that is due is made within the applicable legal time limit, normally through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in accordance with the law.

8. Complaints and dispute resolution

First send your complaint to the seller using the details below, and keep a copy. Applicable mediation details appear on the Legal notice page. Access to the courts and mandatory consumer protections, including those of your country of residence where applicable, are preserved.

The version supplied with your order applies to that purchase. Later website changes do not replace terms already accepted. Version: 2026-10-05.1.
